This material-based research explores (re)connection with the natural environment through memory and the act of collecting in family gardens. Initiated during the season of autumnal decay, the project reflects on estrangement from people, places, and landscapes threatened by urbanisation and cultivation. Through printed matter, 3D prints, experiments on plexiglass and metal, these representations of the leaves serve as quiet monuments, forming The Memorial Herbarium, a personal archive of both nature and lived experience.
